What are we looking for?
Enthusiasm and Motivation: We seek individuals who are passionate about accountancy and committed to their professional growth. Your enthusiasm for learning and dedication to excellence will drive your success in our programs.
Academic Background: While previous experience in accountancy is not required, a strong academic background, particularly in mathematics and finance-related subjects, is beneficial. We welcome applications from school leavers, graduates, and individuals seeking a career change.
Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication and teamwork are crucial in our line of work. You should be able to collaborate with colleagues and interact professionally with clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

Work Experience
We do offer work experience placements at Elsby & Co during the summer months and we are thrilled to announce we are now accepting applications for 2025.
Due to high levels of applications being received, we follow a robust process for work experience placements, where you benefit from learning about the business and meeting members of the team. Our process allows us to get to know you and ensure you’re the right fit for us, and vice versa!
Once an application is received, we conduct a telephone interview to create a candidate shortlist for the next stage interview. If you are successful, you will be invited into our office, for an after-school assessment along with other candidates.
For those candidates who are successful, offers are made for a 1 week placement in July.
